What I Will do After the Listing Agreement is Signed?
Enter your property
in the MLS (this includes contacting various organizations and businesses to
make sure the MLS data is correct)
Email a flyer to the
agents in my office, as well as all the agents in Summit County
Place a sign on your
property (unless prohibited by your Association)
Produce a detailed
flyer/brochure for your property which shall be available to all Realtors
and prospective buyers, onsite as well as in my office
Place an electronic
lockbox on your door, to facilitate the showings of your property
If your property is
on a rental program, establish a relationship with your management company
to maximize the number of showings
Follow-up all
showings with a request for feedback from the buyer, which will be passed
onto you on a regular basis, and dependent on the frequency of showings
Take multiple photos
of your property, which will be used in online as well as published
advertising
Advertise your
property on the internet, on multiple websites:
Obtain
all pertinent documents to the sale: Association Covenants, Declarations,
and Bylaws, meeting minutes, financial statements, budget plans, rental
history, rental agreement. These documents will be readily available to all
buyers, so their questions can be answered in a timely manner
Send a
flyer or postcard to owners in the vicinity of your property,
to see if they know of anyone interested in moving into your neighborhood
Place a
photo and description of your property in the
Breckenridge RE/MAX front window, to maximize your exposure to buyers
who like to “window shop”. The RE/MAX office in Breckenridge is on the
“50-yard line” and receives maximum Main Street exposure. Buyers that window
shop in Breckenridge are looking for property all over Summit County, all
price ranges. When a buyer walks through the front door and expresses
interest in a property such as yours, they will be given a flyer on your
property. We’ll also ask them if they would like to view the property
today.
